Peter Andre aka Peter James Andrea; born 27 February 1973 is an Australian-raised English singer, songwriter and presenter of Greek Cypriot descent. On the Australian television talent show New Faces in 1990 and in 1992, Peter Andre was signed to a record company. Peter Andre is known for his appearances in ITV1's reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! (2003) and his ITV2 shows with ex-wife Katie Price. Peter Andre has released seven albums: Peter Andre (1993), Natural (1996), Time (1997), The Long Road Back (2004), A Whole New World (2006, Revelation (2009) and Unconditional: Love Songs (2010).

Peter Andre - Music Career

On the Australian television talent show New Faces in 1990 and in 1992 he was signed to a record company and released his debut song "Gimme Little Sign" which reached at number 3 and lasted for about 31 weeks on the official ARIA Charts. In 1993, a self-titled album charted well in Australia, while the singles "Funky Junky" and "Let's Get It On/Do You Wanna Dance?" reached the Australian Top 20, and "To The Top" provided an additional Top 50 performance. In 1993, In 1998 he released his last single before being dropped by his record company and taking a long break from his music career. He also appeared on the Childliners record The Gift Of Christmas and in the following years he spent some time in Cyprus.

In 2008, Andre began working on his new album, Revelation, which was released on 14 September 2009. The first single, "Behind Closed Doors", was released in August 2009 and peaked at number 4 in the Official Top 40 U.K. charts. Many of the songs focus on his divorce with former wife Katie Price. He will embark on a Sold Out UK Tour with former X Factor Finalist Laura White. Despite the album reaching the top five, only one single managed to chart.

Peter Andre – Television Career

As well as Peter Andre appearances in ITV1's reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! (2003) and his ITV2 shows with ex-wife Katie Price, Andre has now landed a completely different job as showbiz reporter for daytime magazine show This Morning. On 8 September 2009, he made his debut as reporter for the show by attending the TV Choice/TV Quick awards bash – meeting celebs such as Patsy Kensit and Ant & Dec as they collected their various awards.

Andre is expected to host This Morning with Kate Thornton.This will be the first time since joining the show in September 2009.
